Zvi Slonim
Zvi Slonim is a seventh-generation Israeli, descendant of the famous Slonim-Schneerson family in Hebron and a direct descendant of the Alter Rebbe of Lubavitch. His grandfather was Chief Rabbi of Hebron at the time of the 1929 riots. He is a criminologist, expert on juvenile delinquency and special education, and former Chief Parole Officer. Zvi was the first General Secretary and spokesperson of Gush Emunim in the 1970s and has been instrumental in establishing over 100 communities in Israel. He is the founder of the Eretz Israel Academy in Kedumim, the regional archaeological Kedem Museum, and a director of the Land Redemption Fund.
