Anna Berger
Anna Berger was born in Prague to two Holocaust survivors, moved to Vienna and came to Sydney in 1951, gaining her BA from UNSW and MA in Social Psychology from the University of Sydney. Anna embarked on a long career in Management Consulting in both the Public and Private sectors. In 2003 she returned to Sydney University to research the history of the pre-war Jewish community of Munkacs/NMukachevo – her parents’ home city – earning her second MA degree. Anna has been an active member of the Jewish community for over three decades and currently holds the position of President of the Australian Association of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and Descendants.
