Volunteer
Volunteers are the life-blood of all Limmud-Oz events and are welcome to get involved in a wide variety of activites in the lead up to the event as well as on the day.
Why volunteer?
The best way to enjoy Limmud-Oz is to help make a part of the event happen. If you want to get the most out of your Limmud-Oz experience, then come and volunteer – whatever your skills, whoever you are, and however much time you can spare. You’ll be helped and guided by the team, make great friends, and be rewarded by the fruits of your labour.
I want to volunteer – what can I do?
We need people to help in the lead up to Limmud-Oz as well as volunteers at the event itself. They may not be so glamourous but there are many things you can do to help make Limmud-Oz a great success, including:
- Registration
- Photography
- ‘Hosts’ / chauffeurs for international and interstate presenters (doesn’t necessarily include home hospitality)
- Assisting with set-up and set-down
- Schlepping equipment
- Session room monitors
...and lots of other essential tasks and roles. If you can help out, we’ll love you forever!

Volunteer discounts for young adults
If you’re under the age of 39, consider registering for the Give 2 Get ticket. Spend 2 hours helping out on both Sunday and Monday and, for the rest of the time – Saturday night through Monday – you can participate in the full program - for just $35. Visit the Buy Tickets page to book.
