Food & Books – A Recipe for Joy
The first in our series of intimate food and cooking events. Join an author and a chef for conversation, cooking and a shared meal. This month, in a limited ticketed event, author Joanne Fedler will join Shalom’s very own Director and chef Alon Meltzer.
About Joanne Fedler
Joanne Fedler is the internationally bestselling author of 14 books, which have sold over 750,000 copies worldwide. She is a writing mentor, women’s rights activist, ocean swimmer and recently qualified swimming coach. Her book Things Without A Name has been optioned for a six part TV mini-series. About Alon Meltzer
Alon Meltzer, the Director of Programs at Shalom and Rabbi of Or Chadash, is not only a communal professional and Rabbi, but an avid foodie! Having trained as a chef after owning his own catering company, Alon has travelled the globe in search of understanding the intricacies of food culture and how best to adapt to a kosher diet.
