ETGAR KERET

Etgar Keret was born in Ramat Gan and now lives in Tel Aviv. A winner of the French Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres, The Camera D’Or, and the Charles Bronfman Prize, he is the author of the memoir ‘The Seven Good Years’ and many story collections, most recently ‘Fly Already’. His work has been translated into forty-two languages and has appeared in The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, The Paris Review, and The New York Times, among many other publications, and on This American Life, where he is a regular contributor.

 

 

MICHAELA KALOWSKI

Michaela Kalowski is an interviewer and moderator for writers and ideas festivals. She’s interviewed writers and thinkers from the worlds of arts, science and politics. Highlight interviews include Margaret Atwood, Amos Oz, Column McCann, Stan Grant, David Mitchell, Trent Dalton, Assaf Gavron, Charlotte Wood and Laura Marling. She’s also conducted radio interviews for ABC Radio National’s The Music Show, Big Ideas & The Bookshelf, ABC Classic and has presented programs on ABC Radio National and Local Radio. She’s the Program Director of the SJWF and in 2020 curated Radio National’s first ever on air writers’ festival, the Big Weekend of Books.
